Glimpse of the Inheritance

When God lets you see what you’re becoming before you fully arrive

There are moments in life when God gives you a preview.

Not the full blessing, not the whole picture, just a glimpse.

A flicker of what is coming.

A taste of what is already yours in the spirit.

It is just enough to steady your soul,

and just enough to stretch your faith.

That is what I call a glimpse of the inheritance.

It is like when the prodigal son “came to himself”

or when Moses saw the burning bush and knew it was not just fire.

It is not the full promise,

but it is the unmistakable announcement that promise is close.

A glimpse is God’s way of saying,

“You are farther along than you think.”

“You are growing even when you do not feel it.”

“You are walking toward something I already prepared.”

Soul Esteem teaches you to recognize these holy hints.

It reminds you that God speaks in patterns,

nudges,

moments,

and quiet confirmations.

A glimpse might look like,

• the peace you feel after choosing obedience

• the clarity that arrives after months of fog

• the confidence that rises when you stop apologizing for your calling

• the wisdom that shows up in your mouth before you know how you said it

• the healing that sneaks in through habits you did not notice changing

Sometimes the inheritance shows up in whispers long before it shows up in your hands.

When I was younger, raising my daughters alone and doing my best to survive days that felt too long and too heavy, God gave me glimpses.

Moments of unexplainable strength.

Moments where fear lifted.

Moments where I knew,

“This peace is not mine, this peace is evidence.”

He was showing me who I was becoming.

He was strengthening my spirit from the inside out.

He was teaching me that inheritance is not only what you receive,

it is who you grow into.

That is why glimpses matter.

They are reminders of identity,

not circumstance.

And they teach you a profound truth,

What God promises, He previews.

If you are reading this today and you feel like you are in the in between,

not where you were but not where you want to be,

pay attention.

Look closely.

Breathe slowly.

God gives clues.

He does not tease.

He prepares.

The glimpse is not random.

It is intentional.

It is personal.

It is your spirit catching up to what Heaven has already settled.

Hold it.

Honor it.

Use it as fuel.

Your inheritance is closer than you think.
