Why You're Performing for an Audience That Left the Theater Hours Ago
Never make the mistake of thinking that anything anyone else does is about you, because nine times out of ten it's not.
You're standing center stage under a spotlight that exists only in your mind. The audience left hours ago. They're home, dealing with their own scripts, their own stages, their own imaginary spotlights. Satan's been around long enough to know how to sell you paranoia about people who aren't even thinking about you.
Everyone's watching my every move.
Most people are too busy being paranoid about their own spotlight to notice yours.
Even if they were thinking about you, what difference does it make? Jesus Christ didn't redeem you to perform for strangers. He redeemed you into authority. Turn off the imaginary spotlight. Look up.
What phantom audience are you performing for that doesn't even exist?
