The Unlocked Gate

Why freedom in Jesus Christ isn’t earned, but walked through

We’re taught that freedom has to be fought for. Earned. Maintained. prove yourself, work harder, clean up first.

No. Freedom is a gate already standing open. Jesus Christ said, “He whom the Son sets free is free indeed.” That’s not a slogan. It’s a statement of fact.

Satan’s tactic isn’t to block the gate. It’s to keep you circling outside—busy, ashamed, trying to “get ready” for God. But the cross already handled what you’re trying to fix.

Freedom isn’t transactional. You don’t bring your résumé. You bring your trust. Every wound, every regret, every “I’ll do better next time” already met its match at Calvary.

The world measures worth by speed, productivity, appearance. Christ measures by surrender. The only question is: will you walk through what’s already unlocked?

Focus Point: Freedom doesn’t wait for you to clean up. It waits for you to step in.

Share this with someone who still thinks they have to “earn” God’s welcome.
