The Weight of Empty Hands
By Jackie Overstreet • October 18, 2025

What you refuse to let go of will keep you grounded in all the wrong ways
We say we’re waiting on God.
But maybe He’s waiting on us —
to drop what we’re gripping so tightly.
Control.
Validation.
Rehearsed humility.
All the things that keep our hands too full to receive what’s next.
If I hold on long enough, maybe it’ll start to feel right.
But holding on doesn’t heal — it hides.
Sometimes faith looks less like grasping
and more like unclenching.
Like a release that feels like loss but turns into lightness.
I learned that surrender isn’t weakness —
it’s the sound of your chains hitting the floor.
Focus Point:
When your hands are finally empty, heaven gets room to move.

It’s designed to help you pray from release, not resistance.
"I've Tried Everything. Nothing Works. "
If you've said this, you're not broken. You're just missing ONE piece.
"I saw my pattern on page 2. I literally gasped. This is why my relationships always end the same way."
