I Am the Woman for the Job

why Being Called Matters More Than Being Qualified

I Am the Woman for the Job

Here's what the world doesn't understand about being chosen.

It's not about being qualified. It's about being called.

I am the woman for the job.

Not because I checked all the boxes. Not because I have the perfect resume. Not because society stamped its approval on my forehead.

I am the woman for the job because Jesus Christ looked at me, broken, flawed, and imperfect, and said, "That one. She's Mine."

The Job Description

Let me tell you what this job entails, because most people think they want it until they read the fine print.

The job requires you to be fearless in the face of obstacles. Unafraid of the unknown.

Refusing to be comfortable in places before it's time.

Unwilling to accept the labels they try to give you.

The job demands that you not buckle to the pressure of societal norms. You will be anchored in Christ, unwilling to settle for the status quo, believing that He who has begun a good work will finish it in you.

The job description says you must know that the bedrock of who you've become is only by His grace.

Most people read that and walk away.

I read it and said, "I'll take it."

The Interview Process

Here's what they don't tell you about God's interview process: He doesn't ask about your qualifications. He asks about your willingness.

He doesn't care about your past failures. He cares about your future obedience.

He doesn't need your perfection. He needs your surrender.

Potential is a magnificent thing in the hands of a changed mind.

It makes its vessel an unstoppable, immovable force.

I am the woman for the job, the woman who will lift others up, regardless of how they treat me.

I am the woman for the job because I know that every obstacle I get the opportunity to face, I get to see the mighty hand of God work miraculously through my obedience.

The World's Verdict

Society says that once certain events happen in your life, you're done. Finished.

Disqualified.

I prove them otherwise.

Society tries to brainwash me into thinking there's a ceiling. But the ceiling is an illusion When Jesus Christ is your foundation.

Society defines success by their norms. I understand success is knowing who you are in Christ.

Society says compliance is required. I say compliance to Christ is not an option; it's the only option.

The Daily Requirements

This job requires daily discipline. Daily surrender. Daily choosing.

I am the woman for the job because disciplining my emotions has begun a path of traveling that's been unlike anything I've ever seen.

I am the woman for the job because as God begins to open up different parts of my life, I begin to feel deeply, not with worldly emotion, but with Christ-centered purpose.

I am the woman for the job because I'm confident in what I'm delivering, knowing that whoever needs to catch what I'm throwing is catching it.

The Mission Statement

I am the woman for the job, believing, trusting, refusing to settle for the status quo, living a life that's poured out before my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I am the woman for the job who will proclaim the name of Jesus Christ until I am an old woman, living every day of my life telling people that JESUS saves.

I am the woman for the job who is dedicated to pointing people to Jesus by loving them like Jesus.

I am the woman for the job, called to break generational curses, to trample on the devil, and to rise every day with the sole goal in mind to do what my Lord and Savior has called me to do.

When my feet touch the ground, it makes hell nervous.

The Designer's Signature

I am the woman for the job because when God made me, He made no mistakes. When He made me, He said, "That is good."

I know that my body is a temple and that whenever I obey what the Lord has told me to do, it is an act of worship. I know that "no weapon formed against me will prosper, and every tongue that rises against me in judgment God will condemn." (Isaiah 54:17)

The Authority

I am the woman for the job because distractions are assigned to keep me off track, but I know the best is yet to come because it's all part of God's design.

I am the woman for the job because out of my mouth can come blessings and cursing, and I choose to speak life.

I am the woman for the job because I wake up every day choosing to make Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior of my life.

I am the woman for the job because whatever He entrusts into my hands, I will multiply it.

The Standard

I am the woman for the job: bold, fearless, unwavering.

I am the woman for the job, clearing the path to help others find freedom.

I am the woman for the job, speaking with purpose, understanding that for every word I will be accountable.

I am the woman for the job, knowing that how I treat others is not about what I think; it has everything to do with what God thinks, seeing them through the heart of God, and having the opportunity to show them love in a way they have never seen or experienced before.

The Calling

This isn't about me being special. This is about Jesus Christ being faithful.

This isn't about me being worthy. This is about Him being worthy.

This isn't about me having it all together. This is about Him holding it all together.

I am the woman for the job, not because I'm perfect, but because He is.

I am the woman for the job, not because I'm strong, but because He is strong in my weakness.

I am the woman for the job, not because I have all the answers, but because I know the One who does.

The Declaration

So when the world asks, "Who do you think you are?"

I answer, "I am the woman for the job."

When they ask, "What makes you qualified?"

I answer, "Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

"When they ask, "What gives you the right?"

I answer, "The blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony."

I am the woman for the job because He called me to be.

I am the woman for the job because He equipped me to be.

I am the woman for the job because He will complete what He started in me.

The Invitation

Maybe you're reading this thinking, "I could never be that confident."

Maybe you're thinking, "I could never be that bold."

Maybe you're thinking, "I could never be that sure."

Here's what I want you to know: neither could I.

Until I met Jesus Christ.

Until I understood that my identity isn't found in what I do, but in whose I am.

Until I realized that my confidence doesn't come from my ability, but from His.

The question isn't whether you're qualified for the job.

The question is, are you willing to be called?

Are you ready to stop letting the world define your worth and start letting Jesus Christ define your identity?

Are you ready to stop settling for society's ceiling and start building on Christ's foundation?

Are you ready to stop being who they say you are and start being who He says you are?

The Choice

I am the woman for the job.

Not because I'm perfect.

Because He is.

Not because I'm worthy.

Because He makes me worthy.

Not because I have it all figured out.

Because I know the ONE who does.

The job is available.

The position is open.

The calling is clear.

The question is, are you the one for the job?
