Shame Is Not Your Name

How Jesus separates you from what you regret
Shame does not simply say you made a mistake. It says you are the mistake.
It attaches itself to identity. It rewrites your inner dialogue. It turns failure into a label and weakness into a permanent definition.
Over time, shame becomes familiar. You stop arguing with it. You build your life around managing it.
My worst moment defines me
The truth is this, Jesus Christ separates you from what you regret.
Romans 8:1 declares there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. Condemnation speaks in final terms. Christ speaks in redemptive ones.
Jesus Christ is King. He does not address you by your lowest point. He calls you redeemed, chosen, restored.
Shame says hide.
Christ says come closer.
Hope begins the moment you realize your identity is not anchored to your past but to His finished work.
What if the name you answer to has been wrong all along?
Focus Point
Your identity in Christ overrides your history.
