Stepping Out of Hiding

Why exposure in Christ leads to healing, not rejection
The instinct of shame is concealment.
In Genesis 3, Adam and Eve hid. Not because God stopped loving them, but because they felt exposed. Shame convinced them that distance was safer than presence.
That pattern still exists.
We hide behind productivity. Humor. Spiritual performance. Emotional withdrawal. We assume that if people or even God see everything, rejection will follow.
If God truly sees me, He will pull away
The truth is this: Jesus moves toward what others step away from.
Throughout the Gospels, Christ touches lepers, defends the adulterous woman, and restores Peter after denial. He does not recoil at brokenness. He redeems it.
Jesus Christ is King. His response to exposure is restoration.
Healing begins when you risk being fully seen by Him. Not polished. Not curated. Not improved. Seen.
Hope shines brightest where hiding ends.
What part of your story have you assumed is disqualifying, when it may be the very place Christ wants to restore?
