Hope for the days you feel spiritually unimpressive

Some days you feel strong in faith. Other days you feel distracted, inconsistent, ordinary.

On those ordinary days, it is easy to assume God is distant. That He engages most when you are spiritually impressive.

But friendship is not built on highlight moments. It is built on staying.

Christ is Lord. In John 15, He calls His disciples friends. Not because they were flawless. Not because they were brave every hour. But because they remained with Him.

God is closest to me when I am spiritually impressive

The truth is this, God remains with you even in your unremarkable moments.

Hope grows in the realization that God does not clock in and out based on your consistency.

He stays when you are tired.

He stays when you are distracted.

He stays when your prayers feel small.

The question shifts from, Is God enjoying me, to, Am I willing to enjoy being with Him without pretending?

What would your spiritual life look like if you believed God was not grading you, but walking with you?

Focus Point

God’s presence is steady, even when you feel spiritually ordinary.
